It was built in 1860 on behalf of the Bishop of Padua, and it was used for the rest and the retirement of the Franciscan fathers. It's an elegant and comfortable hotel in the centre of the town. In front of the railway station. Rooms for smokers and non-smokers, wood covered mansards with sloping windows; rooms with elegant pastel shades, cane furniture and coordinated bathrooms in the same colours; other rooms furnished with late nineteenth century pieces, as evidence of the history of the LEON D’ORO. Some rooms are situated on the ground floor and and have a small private garden, where you can spend some time relaxing in complete tranquillity, weather permitting. The LEON D’ORO is surrounded by a wide countryside, a large garden with two hydromassage swimming pools and games for children and grown-ups. In a corner of the park there is an artificial lake where some ducks swim.
